I think this person had every right to expect to get what she was promised. It is not that she is demanding something for free. Rather, she inquired if she would be able to use her miles (which, of course, represent money spent) to get the upgrade. Worry-Free and NWA could simply have said "no", and while disappointed, this consumer probably would have lived with that. But they didn't. Instead they said "yes", and then later reneged. She isn't telling them that they HAVE to give her a free upgrae, she is telling them that if they say they will, and she relies on that promise, that they should stand by their word. I feel for your situation.
